No Pets, No Exceptions

Mountainside Paradise is a charming three-bedroom, two-bath cabin ideally situated in Lake Lure Village Resort on Lake Lure's west side!  Embraced by the great outdoors, all will feel right with the world in a rocking chair here on the large back porch.

But wait, there’s a sun deck too - with two sets of French doors leading into or out of the house. 

Back on the upper porch, the table and chairs, swing and rocking chairs, and new gas grill, are ready and waiting for you and your signature BBQ recipes. Downstairs, the rocking chair-flanked fire pit adds flare. Together, the outdoor spaces offer exponential entertaining and “winddown” opportunities for enchanted evenings, fellowshipping, and stargazing. 

All around, nature will sing each season’s praises, and you are guaranteed to fully relax and meld with your sublime surroundings as you gaze up, down, and into the lovely trees accentuating this peaceful home. 

Inside…Has Joanna Gaines been here? It sure looks like she stopped by and waved her rustic-elegance magic wand! The natural stone wood-burning fireplace, vaulted ceilings in the open living/dining area, and immaculate, well-equipped kitchen with wide-peninsula/bar seating will have you feeling right at home while away from home.

Open, airy, ever so tastefully decorated, and simply impeccable throughout, whether it’s only two or more than a few, you’ll bask in the comfort while admiring the beautiful furnishings and design elements: luxury vinyl flooring throughout, all-new fixtures–including stunning pendant lights which cast a warm glow over the fresh, new countertops. Those, by the way, offer a great amount of space for all aspects of food prep, from a cake, pie, and cookie-baking to standing rib roast, salad, or sandwich making!

Nearly every inch of the decor in this home is new, new, new. And it shows. 

From the rustic live-edge dining table with chairs to match to the leather sectional fit for a popcorn-crunching crew, it’s situated right in front of the gorgeous wood-burning stone fireplace and large flatscreen television. The main level provides those sought-after vacation accommodation “wow” and “glee” responses before you even see the rest!

And speaking of rest…

The master bedroom - features a king bed, a full bath (accessible from living areas), and walk out to the upper deck on the main level; two bedrooms (one with twin beds; and one with a queen), and a full bath on the upper level, the layout is perfect for guests to enjoy equal parts shared, gathering time and private, relaxing downtime.

Just wait until you see these beds!! Thick, luxurious mattresses, covered in layers of comfortable bedding, situated in roomy, wonderfully decorated quarters.

A cozy loft nook with lots of natural light serves as a great space to work, read, or journal about your mountain adventures. 

The basement level is a little-kid, big-kid haven - a safe distance away (but still within snack-beckoning range) from the adults–with two sets of bunk beds, foosball, and air hockey for hours of fun.

The entire inside promises a vacation dream come true.

And the outside does, too!

The community’s amenities include a recreation area on Lake Lure, a small swimming area, a waterfall, a creek, and open-grassy areas!

This great location also is convenient for all there is to do in and around the town of Lake Lure, newly named by Southern Living Magazine “Best Lake Town in the South”!  And this cabin is only 3 miles from Chimney Rock Park!

Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. local time or any time after.

Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. local time or anytime earlier.

Cancellation Policy:  If you cancel a confirmed reservation outside of 30 days before arrival, there is just a $50 cancellation fee to help cover credit card cost and time.  If you cancel within 30 days, there is no refund unless we get the home rebooked.  If the home is rebooked for your canceled dates, we will refund all but the $50 cancellation fee.  Please note that we always recommend purchasing travel insurance/trip interruption insurance to help protect your investment should something unexpected come up.  Travel insurance is typically 6.95% of your total trip cost, and coverage details are available on the checkout page.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less $50.00 cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 30 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
