Southfork Cottage is conveniently located! Have plans to go to Biltmore? Want to spend a day at Chimney Rock State Park or the beach at Lake Lure? Looking to scout out some waterfalls? Want to shop in downtown Hendersonville? Excited to eat ice cream in Black Mountain? South Fork is a great little cottage to be your landing spot it. It offers a comfortable stay in a very central location. This view has been described as "...fun, beautiful, peaceful and stimulating all simultaneously!"

Offering two bedrooms and two baths. The upstairs bedroom has a set of twin bunk beds and a bathroom, a kitchen, a living room, and a fabulous deck. The downstairs has an open bedroom and a private bathroom as well as a laundry area. The lower level and lower level deck are both slightly lower than standard ceiling heights. This small cottage was built long ago, but a recent remodel has made it very modern and simplistic. It's a stylish little property that is perfect for up to four people. There's parking for one vehicle, and from the parking area, it is approximately a 50-foot walk to the home. A modern, stylish appeal and a nice upper deck with super cool views are the main draws to this property.

For All Seasons
With the area's temperate climate and beauty, this home can be enjoyed throughout the year. Springtime brings the blooming of the dogwood and redbud trees as well as the azaleas, rhododendron, and mountain laurel. Summer brings lush greenery, and the autumn colors are extraordinary. Winters are mild and, with less tree obstruction, views are incredible. Add the year-round sounds of the Rocky Broad River, and you have peaceful perfection!

The Lake Lure/Chimney Rock area and surrounding communities offer several entertainment and activity options. See the Amenities and Notes for just a sampling of what is available. Just pack your clothes, pick up some groceries, and then sit back, relax, and enjoy all this area and Southfork Cottage have to offer. We hope to see you soon and welcome you to be our guest!

Parking for one (1) vehicle.  Only one parking space for this home.

Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. local time or anytime later.
Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. local time or anytime earlier.

Cancellation Policy:  
If you cancel a confirmed reservation outside of 30 days before arrival, there is just a $50 cancellation fee to help cover credit card costs and time.  If you cancel within 30 days, there is no refund unless we get the home rebooked.  If the home is rebooked for your canceled dates, we will refund all but the $50 cancellation fee.  Please note that we always recommend purchasing travel insurance/trip interruption insurance to help protect your investment should something unexpected come up.  Travel insurance is typically 6.95% of your total trip cost, and coverage details are available on the checkout page.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less $50.00 cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 30 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
