*** Summer 2025 - Lake Lure Update ***

Per the website www.townoflakelure.com: Lake Use in 2025- Town Council and Town leadership are keenly aware of the importance of reopening the Lake as soon as it is safe to do so. Given the timing of the work that has been completed thus far and the need for ongoing work moving forward, it is extremely unlikely that the Lake will be able to open for the 2025 summer season. (This includes motorized and non-motorized vessels and swimming.) For those of you who have been following our storm recovery process closely, this news may not be a surprise to you. I thought it was important to share this news with you directly. Please note that Town Council and Town leadership will continue to evaluate options for opening the Lake or portions of the Lake and we will continue to keep you informed with any updates as new information becomes available.

Wildwood Vista is a fantastic mountain home with rock-face views & an excellent location inside the gates at Rumbling Bald Resort.  Bald Mountain, Shumont Range & Youngs Mountain are seen year-round.  Rustic Elegance with a true mountain feel. When you walk in, you see a welcoming kitchen/dining area and the main-level living room (fireplaces have electric inserts). This level also features a master suite with a king bed and full bath and a laundry room with a half bath.  The upper level has a family/TV room with two twin-size Murphy Beds. Down the hall are a full bath and another bedroom with two twin beds.   There is a lower level with outside access only that offers two queen-sized beds and a full bath with a walk-in shower, so this home is perfect for couples traveling together, extended family, or, of course, just great friends! There are lots of trees, and nature abounds with this lovely property.  You'll find plenty of outdoor deck and patio spaces to enjoy the outdoors. 
There is no satellite or cable package but unlimited internet, so smart TV services are available; bring your personal passwords for Netflix, Prime, or your other favorites.

Smoking is prohibited in all of our vacation rental homes.

Two Dogs are allowed at no cost. Guests must clean up all pet waste to avoid additional charges.

Parking for 3-4 vehicles. 

Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. local time or anytime after.
Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. local time or anytime earlier.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 7 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
