Appalachian Sunrise is a beautiful 3 bedroom 3.5 bath log home, surrounded by picturesque forest with a private lake and a short walk or drive from the cabin. It has both sunny and shady porches overlooking lovely mountain vistas in the private, gated community of Riverbend at Lake Lure. This cabin is 7.5 miles from Lake Lure Beach, 8.5 miles to Chimney Rock State Park, and 19 miles to the Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC), home of the 2018 World Equestrian Games. 

Appalachian Sunrise offers a great room with a cathedral ceiling, a gas log fireplace, Wi-Fi, DVD/BlueRay player, flat-screen TV with surround sound, and Direct TV basic package. The dining room seats 6, and there is a breakfast island with 2 additional seats. This property offers a well-appointed, stocked kitchen.   The main level features a master bedroom with a king bed, flat-screen TV, French doors to the deck, walk-in shower, and laundry area. There is a half bath in the hall. Upstairs you’ll find a loft overlooking the great room; additionally, a guest bedroom with a King bed and a second guest bedroom with a queen bed and 2 twin beds, plus a full shared bathroom.  A lower-level family and the game room comes with a pool table, 70″ flat-screen TV with Direct TV, beer/wine refrigerator, and patio area. There is a lower level bedroom with 2 twin beds and a full bath.

Outside enjoy the hot tub, gas fire pit, gas grill, rocking chairs, and large deck.  Wildlife is abundant, including deer, assorted birds, rabbits, wild turkey, fox, and the occasional black bear. The cabin has a mountain lodge feel.  The views are best in the winter, but you will feel right at home at Appalachian Sunrise no matter what time of the year you choose.

The location offers easy access to nearby restaurants, zip lines, hiking, fishing, boating, swimming. It is a short drive to the Lake Lure beach and Chimney Rock State Park; quaint shops in Chimney Rock and Hendersonville; and music and theater in Brevard and Flat Rock.

Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. local time or anytime earlier.

Cancellation Policy:  If you cancel a confirmed reservation outside of 30 days before arrival, there is just a $50 cancellation fee to help cover credit card cost and time.  If you cancel within 30 days, there is no refund unless we get the home rebooked.  If the home is rebooked for your canceled dates, we will refund all but the $50 cancellation fee.  Please note that we always recommend purchasing travel insurance/trip interruption insurance to help protect your investment should something unexpected come up.  Travel insurance is typically 6.95% of your total trip cost, and coverage details are available on the checkout page.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less $50.00 cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 30 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
